It is the ultimate shield of comfort and warm coverage for very cold winter days. By covering the hips and thighs, it traps heat around the whole body, making city commutes, waiting at the bus stop, or walks in nature much more enjoyable. Additionally, most long models feature a two-way zipper, allowing you to unzip from the bottom for full freedom of movement when sitting or climbing stairs.

To help down maintain its natural loft and thermal insulation capability, never store it compressed in its carrying pouch or in vacuum storage bags for long periods. Hang it on a wide hanger in a dry, well-ventilated space, or place it horizontally in a fabric garment bag. This way, the down fibers remain fluffy and ready for the next winter.

Yes, as long as you follow the correct procedure! Machine wash at 30°C on a delicate/synthetics cycle with a special liquid detergent (without fabric softener), adding 2-3 tennis balls to the drum so they beat the garment and prevent down clumping. For drying, the best option is a tumble dryer on low heat (also with tennis balls) until completely dry, or alternatively lay flat to dry with regular shaking. In any case, always check the garment's care label for precise manufacturer instructions before washing.
