Women's Volleyball Shoes

Of course! At decathlon.com.gr you will find a specialized collection of women's volleyball shoes, designed to offer top traction, stability in lateral movements, and excellent cushioning during jumps. Our collection includes models from Allsix (Decathlon's specialized volleyball brand) as well as top sports brands such as Asics and Mizuno. To complete your athletic outfit, pair your shoes with volleyball kneepads for absolute protection on the court & women's volleyball clothing, such as technical t-shirts & shorts for every practice and match.

Women's volleyball shoes are specially constructed for the demands of the indoor court. They feature a non-marking gum rubber sole that offers incredible grip on hardwood or synthetic floors, preventing slips. Additionally, they provide enhanced lateral support for sudden changes of direction and special cushioning systems in the heel and forefoot to protect joints from continuous jumping. To make the best choice, don't forget to take into account your skill level and training intensity so you can find the right support!

To find the ideal size, measure the length of your foot in centimeters and consult the size guide on the product page. Because in volleyball the foot experiences forward pressure during stops and jumps, it is recommended to leave about 0.5 to 1 centimeter of free space in front of your toes. Also, always try on shoes wearing the athletic socks you use in practice. Find the right women's volleyball shoes and pair them with anatomical insoles for additional arch support.

Although both sports are played on indoor courts, their shoes have a different philosophy. Volleyball shoes are noticeably lighter and more agile, designed for quick explosive jumps and continuous lateral movements, while featuring a lower profile (low-cut) for full ankle freedom. Conversely, basketball shoes are heavier, have a higher design (mid/high-cut) to stabilize the ankle during contact, and feature a thicker sole.

The lifespan of the shoes depends on training frequency, but as a rule, an active athlete should replace them every 1 season (or every 40-50 practices/matches). Over time, the sole's cushioning compresses and loses its shock absorption, while the rubber outsole wears down, reducing grip on the court. To keep your women's volleyball shoes in excellent condition, wear them exclusively inside the court and always transport them in a shoe bag so their soles don't wear out on outdoor streets!
