Which size should I select?
To find the right boot, try out several different sizes and models. You can also choose one size above your usual size for greater comfort downhill. Choose sports socks suitable for hiking to avoid overheating.
How to choose the right socks?
For comfortable hiking, choose Merino wool or synthetic socks for better breathability and to prevent blisters. Opt for a thickness depending on the season and the terrain and make sure that they adjust to the shoe without any folds.
How is grip tested?

We simulate the grip ability of the 3D soles to assess their performance on various terrains.
Lab tests:
the boots then undergo grip tests on a variety of surfaces in the laboratory to guarantee their reliability.
How do we improve performance?
For pleasant hiking, this boot has an anti-intrusion gaiter that prevents debris from getting in, while ensuring a good fit. The mesh inserts ensure optimal air circulation around the foot, combining comfort, breathability and sturdiness, to guarantee performance.
Hiking frequency and intensity?
Three levels of practice:
Occasional: 10 hikes/year, 3-4 hrs, <10 km, 700 m altitude.
Regular: 20 hikes/year, 4-6 hrs, 10-20 km, 700-1200 m altitude.
Intensive: >20 hikes/year, >6 hrs, >20 km, up to 2000 m altitude.
The MH500 is suitable for regular use.
