    A comfortable long jacket

    This long jacket has 2 cargo pockets with rip-tabs, 2 fleece side pockets and a secure chest pocket, ideal for storing your papers.

    The main zip is a two-way zip to guarantee freedom of movement, whether you’re sitting or leaning.

    Can you adjust the jacket?

    The jacket’s long cut adjusts to your body shape. You can adjust the bottom of the cuffs with the rip-tabs. The hood has cords for tightening and a visor, all for better protection from the wind and rain.

    What is its waterproofing ability?

    Take on the rain with our hiking jacket! Its 5,000 mm H2O waterproof fabric (Schmerbers) and taped seams keep you dry in a sudden downpour. Tested in our “Decathlon shower”, it can withstand 6 mm of rain in one hour! Explore trails or strolls around town, protected and stylish.

    What is Schmerbers?

    Schmerber measures the waterproofing of a fabric. The higher the number, the more you stay dry. Our jacket displays 5,000 mm H2O (Schmerbers): it can withstand the pressure exerted by a 5 m water column! In practical terms, it protects you from 60 L / sqm / hr of rain for one hour.

    How to measure waterproofing

    2 simple methods to restore the water-repellent properties of your jacket:
    - Tumble dry on a synthetic cycle for 15min
    - Hairdryer: 2 passes at a distance of 20cm
    Repeat every 3 washes (thorough rinsing is essential) or 10 rainy outings.
