Fresh& Black technology
Cooler and darker for better sleep!
Fresh& Black is a patented Decathlon technology that reflects the sun's rays and insulates the light thanks to the specific materials, to reduce the feeling of warmth and increase the darkness in the tent!
Sun protection
Our Fresh&Black technology relies on a UPF 50+ sun protection fabric.
Caution: be careful, as a large amount of UV rays can get in through a simple open door.
Ventilation of the tent
The ventilated flysheet over the living room lets you ventilate and limit condensation inside your tent. In each room: a high ventilation flap on the outside and a large low ventilation hatch on the inside. The living room and bedrooms are equipped with mosquito nets.
Does the tent withstand the wind?
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The aim is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity.
Properly pitched, with the guy ropes deployed, this tent remains habitable in wind speed 6, measured at 50 km/h.
How waterproof is it?
To check that it is waterproof, the tent was placed for three hours under a 200 L shower of water per hour, equivalent to a tropical shower of 200 mm per hour.
The flysheet is made from 2,000 mm Schmerber PU coated polyester and all seams are sealed with thermobonded tape.
Is the tent repairable?
We care about the durability of our products. That's why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and pole repairs are available at the workshop of your Decathlon shop or on our website
Our tent poles and pegs
Poles - All our poles are made from fibreglass and undergo double quality checks. This guarantees some of the best resistance against breakage.
Tent pegs - All our pegs are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.
Care tips
Our camping tents have been designed for occasional outdoor use (four weeks per year) when camping or in the great outdoors. To ensure your tent lasts as long as it could, it is important to pack it away when not in use and do not leave it outdoors
