A fabric's water-repellent property is its ability to let water slide off its surface without soaking in. The fabric doesn’t soak up water and so remains lightweight, breathable and warm. It is made from a treatment on the outside of the fabric, which must be renewed (every 3 washes). |

| How to restore the jacket's water-repellent properties? |
The water-repellency of your jacket must be regularly reactivated (every three washes): over time, even though it remains waterproof thanks to the component, it seems to start absorbing water.
