The collection includes balls in various sizes as well as softballs so you can choose the ideal one according to your needs and training routine!

What gym ball diameter fits my height?

Choosing the right size ensures proper body posture during exercise. When sitting on the ball, your knees and hips should form a 90-degree angle.
55 cm Diameter (Size 1): Suitable for heights up to 1.65 m.
65 cm Diameter (Size 2): Suitable for heights from 1.65 m to 1.85 m.
75 cm Diameter (Size 3): Suitable for heights over 1.85 m.

How do I properly inflate a gym ball?

To safely inflate the ball, use a hand or foot pump and inflate it to approximately 80% of its capacity. Let it "rest" for 24 hours so the material stretches evenly. Finally, top off the air up to the maximum diameter printed on the ball (e.g., 65cm), using a tape measure for accuracy. The ball should feel firm yet give slightly when you sit on it.

Are gym balls anti-burst and how safe are they?

Yes, all Decathlon gym balls feature Anti-Burst technology. In the event that the ball is punctured by a sharp object, it does not pop suddenly; instead, it deflates slowly and gradually, preventing a sudden fall and ensuring maximum user safety.

Can I use a gym ball during pregnancy?

Yes, absolutely! The gym ball is extremely popular during pregnancy. It helps maintain proper spinal posture, relieves lower back and pelvic pain, strengthens pelvic floor muscles, and facilitates labor preparation through gentle rocking movements.

Which core exercises can I do with a gym ball?

The gym ball creates an unstable surface that forces your core to work continuously. Some favorite exercises include:
Plank with forearms on the ball: For deep abdominal activation.
Roll-outs: Rolling the ball forward with your hands from a kneeling position.
Crunches on the ball: Offer a greater range of motion and better abdominal stretch.
Glute Bridge: With feet placed on top of the ball to tone glutes and hamstrings.
