Tent Pegs

We have developed a wide range of tent pegs to satisfy most needs in terms of ground type. Whether it’s for hard, soft or sandy soils, you’ll find tent pegs suited to your purpose. They’re sold in packs of 10, 5, 6 or 2, depending on the model, and you’ll have the chance to gather a range of tent pegs to handle any type of situation. Tent pegs are vitally important items for putting up a tent properly. Technically speaking, we have developed more robust models of tent peg for hard or stony soils, with improved rigidity. We have also designed lighter, more trekking-specific tent pegs made from aluminium and with no acid surface treatment, for greater eco-friendliness. These tent pegs are perfect for carrying in a trekking pack. Lastly, for securing and removing your tent pegs quietly and easily, use the Quechua mallet with its steel handle and thermoplastic rubber head. Another solution for ensuring your tent stays firmly in place is our range of several adjustable guy rope kits. Decathlon offers two models, sold in 5-metre lengths; the first is reflective for better night-time visibility of your tent, and the other is traditional. Trekking enthusiasts will prefer the ultra-light, more durable and retro-reflective guy rope kit.

To improve floor insulation and provide additional protection for your tent, our teams have designed a carpet for the Forclaz 500 trekking tent. Because camping implies a certain amount of organisation, for greater comfort or simple necessity, Decathlon has designed various accessories to improve your daily life as a camper. We offer several models of storage nets; one can be fitted under all our Quechua camping tables, and another, equipped with four hooks, can be easily adjusted to fit the inside of any type of tent. For example, you can use it to store tent pegs left over from putting up your tent. To tidy your belongings away, we have designed a folding organiser with three compartments. Lastly, to enlarge your camping area, give it a little shade or protect you from the rain, we offer poles for installing an awning. Surplus tent pegs may be used for this purpose.
