Can I find sports bras and crop tops for running available at decathlon.com.gr?

Of course! At decathlon.com.gr you will find a wide variety of sports bras & crop tops for running, specially designed to offer maximum support, comfort, and breathability on every run. We feature models with different levels of support, padded or non-padded options, as well as styles with adjustable straps or zippers for easy fitting. Pair them with a women's running top, women's running leggings, or a pair of women's running shoes and conquer every kilometer!

How do I choose the right level of support in a sports bra for running?

Running is a high-impact athletic activity, as the chest experiences continuous bounces and shocks with every stride. For this reason, it is essential to always choose sports bras with High Support for running workouts, regardless of your bust size. The right choice ensures that the bust remains stable, protecting tissues and ligaments from sagging and discomfort during your run.

How often should I replace a running sports bra?

As a general rule, a running sports bra is best replaced every 6 to 12 months or after approximately 30-40 washes, depending on frequency of use. Over time, frequent use, sweat, and washing weaken the elasticity of the fibers and elastics, causing the bra to lose its firm support. If you notice that the straps are loosening, the band under the bust no longer fits snugly, or you feel more bounce while running, it's time for a replacement.

Are there high-support running sports bras available?

Certainly! At decathlon.com.gr you will find specialized running sports bras designed exclusively for high support. These models feature reinforced, wide straps, an anatomical back design (racerback/cross-back), and a firm under-bust band to absorb bounce up to 50% more than a standard bra. In addition, they feature fabrics that quickly wick away sweat and heat-sealed seams to prevent skin irritation and chafing.

Does choosing the wrong sports bra cause back pain when running?

Yes, choosing the wrong sports bra can be a primary cause of pain in the back, neck, and shoulders. If the crop top doesn't offer adequate support, the weight and movement of the bust force the back muscles to work overtime to maintain proper posture while running. At the same time, a bra that is too tight or straps that press excessively on the shoulders can restrict breathing and cause muscle spasms in the shoulder blade area.
