Taking care of the leather

The Meindl Engadin boots are made of oiled Nubuck leather. It is the leather that makes these boots waterproof, because there is no membrane on this model. So it is vital to take good care of them. First, wash your boots with a soft sponge. Leave them to dry away from any sources of heat, like radiators or fireplaces. Finally, use the Meindl sport wax to nourish and waterproof the leather.

Memory Foam System

With their Memory Foam System (MFS), these boots adapt to your feet perfectly. The upper is padded with a special combination of foams.

Depending on your body temperature, the foam changes shape and precisely matches the morphology of your foot.
