Why use a special down detergent?

Looking after clothing or a sleeping bag with down filling means taking several precautions to maintain performance.

Using this detergent improves the water-repellency of untreated down and restores that of clothing and sleeping bags with water-repellent down filling.

How to use this down detergent?

30°C wash cycle or hand wash.
Recommended dose approx. 25 ml (1 lid) for 2.5 kg of regular soiled laundry (if soft water)
A 250 ml pack will perform up to 10 washes.
Dry in the tumble dryer at a low temperature by selecting the down programme.

Tip: put 2 or 3 tennis balls in the washing machine then tumble dryer to stop the feathers clumping together.
