The rain cape keeps you dry all day long. Adjustable length (2 options) and width adapts to the behaviour and body shape of the competitor. Helmet hood with tightening system.

TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

What is a membrane and what's it for?

The membrane is a very fine component applied to the inner surface of the cape's outer fabric. This hydrophilic component prevents water from seeping in while wicking away the perspiration produced by the body. The membrane is unbeatable when it comes to staying warm and dry.

How is the waterproof rating of the cape measured?

The resistance of a fabric is measured by the height of a water column in mm that can be supported by the fabric (test based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. For example, a component with 2000 mm waterproofing resists the pressure exercised by 2000 mm of water (which corresponds approximately to a two-hour shower).

What are the elements of the cape that protect me from the weather?

This cape was developed with a sophisticated component and assembly that prevent water from entering and reduce wind chill to help you cope with the weather conditions. To validate its waterproof rating, this cape was tested under a special shower that replicates the conditions skiers have to face. We validated the waterproofing of this product by skiing in various weather conditions for several days.

Why is water-repellency needed?

The water-repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to allow water to run off its surface without seeping in. This rain cape features water-repellent components designed to enhance its performance in bad weather. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface. However, this property may deteriorate with use.

How to reactivate the water-repellent properties ?

Bear in mind that the water-repellent feature can be reactivated. To do this, put the cape in the tumble dryer on a synthetic programme for 10 to 15 minutes.
You can also use a waterproof spray (sold in our stores).

What is the fit of the cape?

Wide cut. This product is designed to be worn over your ski outfit. The hood is specially sized to fit over the helmet.

This product is repairable.

We commit to repairing your product free of charge for the duration of the warranty. Whatever it is, fixings, seams, zips, etc. This service is offered in your usual store.
However, if we can't repair your product (production defect), we will exchange it or reimburse you.
