Our horseback riding designers developed this leather saddle for beginning riders! It is perfect for trying out the various equestrian disciplines.

The Schooling saddle is sold fitted with stirrup leathers and stirrups. Removable and interchangeable billet straps.

Tree:

Injection-molded polypropylene; gullet is reinforced with forged steel, making it sturdy as well as comfortable for the horse.

Very comfortable full grain leather with a deep seat that helps beginning riders feel secure in the saddle.

Panels:

Injection-molded foam panels reduce the pressure on the horse's back.

Knee rolls:

2 large front and rear knee rolls that help beginning riders feel secure in the saddle.

Easily removable and interchangeable billet straps.

Stirrup bars:

Mounted and riveted stainless steel brackets.

Care advice:

Clean regularly using glycerin soap. Moisturize regularly using leather milk. Nourish using dubbin or leather grease.

Tips before first use or to restore leathers:

After checking your horse's size:
STEP 1:
clean your leathers with glycerin soap and a sponge. Leave to dry.
STEP 2:
(essential for new, dry, or cracked leather. Not recommended for leather that is already soft.) Apply oil using a cloth, paying particular attention to the underside of the leather. Leave to soak in.
STEP 3:
for any type of leather: apply grease using a cloth, leave to seep in, then buff to a bright shine.
