This inner tube allows you to continue cycling when a conventional inner tube would have gone flat.

26" self-repairing Schrader valve inner tube. The preventative liquid inside the inner tube instantly repairs punctures.

BENEFITS

Compatibility

26" Schrader valve (large valve) bike tyres. ETRTO 44/57 - 559

Puncture resistance

The liquid in the inner tube seals small punctures (< 3mm).

Waterproof

Optimised composition to ensure your inner tube has a good seal.

TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

How to choose your inner tube

Check all the information indicated on the sidewall of the tyre (diameter and width). For example, 26 x 2.00 means your tyre is 26 inches in diameter and 2.00 inches in width.
On the sidewall, you will also find the dimensions in mm in international ETRTO measurements.
For example 50-559 means the tyre is 50 mm wide with an inner diameter of 559 mm (or 26 x 2.00).

Removing an inner tube

Remove the old inner tube using B'Twin tyre levers.

What to check before installing your new inner tube

Check the condition of your tyre and replace it if necessary.
Make sure no objects are lodged in the tyre.
Check the condition of your tyre rim strip.
A rim strip that is even slightly bent can cause punctures.
Check that your rim does not have any other issues that could damage your inner tube.

Fitting your inner tube

Watch our video before you start.
Pre-inflate the inner tube slightly to avoid pinching.
Insert the valve, making sure you are using the correct valve for your rim.
Put the inner tube entirely inside the tyre so that it fits inside the rim.
Take care not to pinch the inner tube when fitting.

Mounting the tyre

Start by mounting the tyre onto the wheel on the opposite side to the valve.
Finish mounting the tyre at the valve to avoid pinching the inner tube.
Never mount your tyre with a screwdriver or a tyre lever, as you risk pinching and puncturing the inner tube.

Inflating the tyre

Inflate your tyre carefully, to the pressure recommended by the manufacturer (visible on the tyre sidewall in PSI or bars, 1 bar = 14.51 PSI).
Regularly check that your tyre is in the correct position as you inflate it.

Tip from the pros

To prevent any puncture from pinching and to achieve the best performance, we recommend checking and, if necessary, pumping up your front tyre before each ride.

seems to be holding the pressure
Puncture resistant tube
Nigel (United Kingdom) using this product since 1 week or less
I tried to follow the very limited instructions on the box which involved a partial pressure of 0.5 bar before installing in the tyre. Having installed successful I tried to pump to the recommended 3.5 bar but I couldn't get a reading from the gauge. I pumped until it was firm but I did not like the uncertainty of not knowing the pressure. I tried several times with the pump gauge and also with a separate digital gauge with no success. I eventually decided to deflate and replace with a standard tube. Disappointing
Would benefit from into on packaging

I had a puncture from a thick nail that did not repair. I assumed it was too large to do so. Only by looking up reviews here and seeing the company's replies did I find that it works for small punctures AND you need to keep cycling as the motion makes the repair work. This is critical information that needs to be included in the box when you but it.
life saver!

cycling with family one weekend luckily this tube installed cos it managed to self seal one of my kid's tire and we all made it home - thanks for great product!

Hi Jamaliah!

Thank you for giving 5 stars and reviewing our self-sealing inner tube. The self-sealing inner tube has sealant in it to seal the openings of the tube in the case of puncture. Do remember to check the tire pressure, and the condition of the tires before each ride to prevent and minimize the chances of getting a puncture.

Decathlon City Square Mall will be having the DECARNIVAL on the 15th and 16th June @ City Square Mall Fountain Square. We are inviting all our members and their family members to join us for some games! Hope to see you there!

Great tube for the $$
John (Singapore) using this product since 2 to 8 weeks
I commute with these tubes installed in my MTB HT with semi slick 26" tires and noticed a small puncture mid ride (loss of pressure) Thankfully i had previous experience with pre filled sealant tubes and continued to cycle so that the sealant could do its job. Pressure loss stopped and got home cycling ^^ Just used my BTWin hand pump to bump up the pressure again and it's been all good!

Dear Pavan,

Thank you for sharing your useful review. The puncture protect is definitely a very helpful product for off-road or regular users. We really appreciate you taking time to share your experience with us. Happy cycling

Failed to self-seal
Chris (United Kingdom) using this product since 1 week or less
Punctured on only my second use (on not particularly rough roads/tracks). Self repair failed to work and I had to walk home and resort to the good old puncture repair kit.
Answear
I'm sorry to read that the innertube did not seal itself. Holes made by thorns, small pieces of flint or small pinch flats should seal up with no issue as long as you keep on riding (important not to stop riding), the motion of the wheels spinning plugs the hole. If you continued to ride and the puncture persisted, the hole may have been too large.
If you believe the item to be faulty then please feel free to return it to us for a refund or an exchange.

Blindly dont believe this product

Hello Punith,

Thank you for taking the time to give us your review. The inner tube usually heals staple pins and smaller punctures. It may not be able to heal nail piercings. I suggest you try a tire liner to reduce the number of punctures.  I remain available for more questions.
