not very efficient
Will (United Kingdom) using this product since 7 to 12 months
These levers came as standard on a "liloo" decathlon bike purchased for my 6 year old daughter. Unfortunately no matter how hard you pull them the brakes still slip slightly. This wasn't really a problem when she was using the bike with stabilisers. Now she has learned to ride, they're basically useless. I've tried adjusting them to no avail. In the end I gave up and I've now purchased traditional brake levers.

Thank you for giving feedback to us regarding these brake levers.
I will forward your comments on to the design team in charge of this item which is fitted to our smaller sized kids bikes.

I have purchased for my daughter and it is not user friendly for kids

Hello Rajani,

Thank you for taking the time to give us your review. The stop easy is an innovation from Decathlon which helps reduce the effort to apply the brakes in half. we have not had a complaint so far about it. Please help us understand what went wrong with the brakes and we can get it serviced for you.

Pretty useless as most handlebars are 22mm or wide
Douard (United Kingdom)
19mm is a non standard handlebar size so a waste of money and I have removed them from the package and this now has some usage marks on it.

Hello Sir,

Sorry to hear that they did not fit the bike that you intended on using these brake levers on. As you said, they do only fit on a 19mm handlebar which is mentioned on packaging and online, this is the size of handlebar that we use on our 14 & 16 inch kids bikes.

Even though you have taken them out the packaging etc don't refrain from returning them to your local store for a refund/exchange with proof of purchase.

Tried to return but had lost receipt and damaged trying to fit
Nice idea
They don't fit standard boys handlebars

Dear Sir,
Sorry to read that the levers did not fit your son's handlebars.  What diameter are they? These levers are designed for 19mm bars.
Even if you no longer have your receipt you local store will be able to exchange them for the correct diameter or offer a credit note.  Give them a quick call before going down.
This is the link to the brake levers category page on our website which may help you select the correct levers for your son's bike: http://www.decathlon.co.uk/C-755635-bike-brakes/N-179802-product-type~brake-levers
